GTAA - Toronto Pearson International Airport Ambient Air Quality Monitoring

GTAA - Toronto Pearson International Airport Ambient Air Quality Monitoring

The GTAA is committed to maintaining clean, pollution free air. Since 1994, we have maintained a permanent air quality monitoring station at the southeast area of the airport property. We have now upgraded the network to three stations. Environment Canada methodology is used to monitor air quality, inform our processes, and ensure your safety and comfort.

Air quality components such as Fine Particulate Matter (PM 2.5), Nitrogen Dioxide, Ozone, Carbon Monoxide, Temperature and Relative Humidity are being continuously monitored to help ensure a safe and comfortable experience while at Toronto Pearson. The concentrations measured at the outside, ambient monitoring stations are typical of large urban areas.

Disclaimer:

Pollutant concentrations are automatically polled from the GTAA Air Quality Monitoring Stations and have not undergone complete quality control and quality assurance procedures. The air quality data reported here are considered "unverified data" and are provided only for educational and information purposes.
